Washington, D.C., according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Web site, the agency will soon test air samples at the Illinois Beach State Park for asbestos.  The EPA indicated that it will test air samples over several days.  

Asbestos exposure can cause asbestos-related disease which include but are not limited to cancer, asbestosis, and mesothelioma.
