Living pay check to pay check,
Living from hand to mouth,
You worked your fingers to the bone,
To feed your family,
and buy clothing for your kids,
tears of pain now,
for all those years of toil.
What were you exposed to?
I tell my baby to be sure and goto school,
goto college, and beyond,
so they won’t kill you slowly.
Oxygen tanks and sleeping up straight,
a jail or prison make.
Draining fluid off of your lungs,
and calling hospice,
What was given, and what was taken for such a price?   Â
What happened to your Golden Years?
