In June of 2004, a class action lawsuit was filed against the makers of Paxil (GlaxoSmithKline) by parents and guardians of children who took Paxil before turning 18 years old.  Clinical studies have shown that Paxil increases suicidal thoughts in adolescents, and these parents/guardians filed suit alleging that this information was known and withheld by the drug company. 

 In 2006, GlaxoSmithKline settled with the parents/guardians for $48 million dollars.  However, the settlement fund expires August 31, 2007, so hurry, claims MUST be received before this date, and c.y.a. send it certified RRR!!!  For more information, please goto www.paxilpayback.org
