Contact Lens Cleaning Solutions That Eat Your Cornea!!! Keep Your Renu Moisture Lock & AMO Complete Bottles AND Receipts As Evidence!!!

Although the FDA  (Food & Drug Administration) has issued a statement instructing all individuals to throw away Renu Moisture Lock as well as AMO Complete, and discontinue use; it would be best to keep your evidence.  However, while keeping your evidence, take steps to insure that no one can accidentally get into or use these defective products.

Renu Moisture Lock as well as AMO Complete Contact Solution are contact lens cleaning solutions which have caused fusarium keratitis and ancanthomeoba keratitis, respectively, in some users.  Fusarium is a fungus and keratitis is a disease of the cornea.  The cornea is literally eaten away by the fungus.

Currently, there are two possible theories as to why these defective products cause/caused disease in so many people.  One theory is that the product itself was manufactured poorly, and left the manufacturing plant contaminated.  (This is why it is so important to save your evidence — so it can be tested at a lab for contamination)  The second theory is that these defective products simply fail to do their jobs of killing fusarium, as all contact lens solutions should kill this fungus.
